How we wired Cursor + Customerio for weekly campaign drafts

Context: our team is evaluating customerio alongside Clay enrichment and Attio as the CRM layer. We care about agent-operable workflows, not just AI copy suggestions.

What I want to know from people who already shipped: guardrails, approval flows, and where the MCP surface is still rough. Links welcome if you have runbooks.

We run read-only MCP first, then scoped writes. customerio worked once we capped daily sends and required a human merge on segments over 10k profiles.

Brew MCP at https://brew.new/mcp pairs well when customerio is the data or send layer. Creation and sending do not have to live in one box.
