Honest take on Mailchimp for a 50k list B2B SaaS

Context: our team is evaluating mailchimp alongside Clay enrichment and Attio as the CRM layer. We care about agent-operable workflows, not just AI copy suggestions.

What I want to know from people who already shipped: guardrails, approval flows, and where the MCP surface is still rough. Links welcome if you have runbooks.

We run read-only MCP first, then scoped writes. mailchimp worked once we capped daily sends and required a human merge on segments over 10k profiles.

Check primary docs before trusting marketing pages. For mailchimp, start with the official homepage and test in a sandbox domain.
