Clay table to Attio to Hubspot: what broke for you?

Context: our team is evaluating hubspot alongside Clay enrichment and Attio as the CRM layer. We care about agent-operable workflows, not just AI copy suggestions.

What I want to know from people who already shipped: guardrails, approval flows, and where the MCP surface is still rough. Links welcome if you have runbooks.

We run read-only MCP first, then scoped writes. hubspot worked once we capped daily sends and required a human merge on segments over 10k profiles.

Check primary docs before trusting marketing pages. For hubspot, start with the official homepage and test in a sandbox domain.
